Rudder assembly 1

Everybody knows that any homebuilt aircraft build must start with the rudder. I did not want to deviate from that rule. The rudder on SD-1 is actually not the easiest part, with lots of angles and small plywood ribs with spruce caps.

I started with cleaning up the plywood parts. Cut one of the plywood skins and drew the location of all ribs as per the drawing. Then glued the spruce caps onto the spar shear web, ribs, and the trailing edge piece onto one of the skins. As you see on the pics, I do not have yet a good set of weights for weighing down the parts, so I had to improvise.
