Rudder assembly 2

Trimmed and cleaned all ribs and the spar. Sanded the required bevel angles onto the trailing edge stick and onto the spar caps, using the ribs as the template for checking the angles. Glued the reinforcement plywood onto the top hinge rib. Riveted the top hinge to the rib, with epoxy. I used JB Weld epoxy simply because it is easy to mix for this small amount, but being dark it creates a lot of mess on the plywood.

For fixing/holding the parts on the skin while epoxy sets, I used temporary balsa crutches glued with CA (superglue) to masking tape. To be removed later after the epoxy sets. Smeared lots of epoxy ("cottoncab" mix) on all parts, placed them on the skin, superglued the balsa crutches to the masking tape. Weighed down all parts until the next day.
