Marked and sanded the correct bevel and thickness on the trailing edge stick.
Used a plywood rib from the anti-servo tab as a guide for the trailing edge.
Set aside the skin for the moment. It will be the task for the next session.
Made a bevel angle template for the auxiliary spar. Shaved and sanded the bevels on the aux spar caps. Used a small jointer (borrowed from my friend) - that really helps to set the correct bevel angle and to remove all bumps and bends from the edge. Trimed for the correct length and glued end sticks to the aux spar with CA.
Marked the cut lines on the main foam ribs where the aux spar would be installed. Cut the foam rib ends. They will be used for the anti-servo tab.
Did a dry run with installing the spar and the plywood sub-ribs. Mixed cotton-cab and glued the aux spar and end ribs to the foam ribs. Used clamps and tape to hold them in place. Rested the structure on a large alum angle and loaded from the top slightly to keep the ribs as aligned as possible.
