Installed the center hinge bracket on the auxiliary spar and the edge pivot
brackets on the anti-servo tab. This means installing the T-nuts that are used
for bolting down the brackets. This involved a lot of dry fitting,
drilling, countersinking, riveting. Sometimes drilling out the rivets and
redoing. Lots of small parts that need to be installed very precisely to allow
for the correct hinge operation. Feels like there should be an easier way to
install a trim tab :) It all worked out OK in the end, but there were a lot of
ugly things there that will be hidden under the skins and the paint.
Installed the control horn - more drilling, countersinking, riveting of the T-nuts.
Sanded the edges of the plywood on the tab and the main skin.
Put one coat of varnish on the interior skin surfaces. Used masking tape to cover the future joints on the bottom skin (yet to be glued on).
